This was my first attempt at making a full sized interior door incorporating two large wildlife panels. The door is made of red cedar, using darker coloured cedar for the frame, while using lighter coloured cedar for the panels. The carvings are 3/4" deep in a 1 1/4" thick panel. This door is going to a friends old log lodge located in Tweedsmuir Park of North West British Columbia and the scenes reflect what you see looking across the valley from their front yard and the yearly August bear/fishing activity that happens in the river close to their home.

This is a door for a closet in our entryway. It is made of Sitka Spruce from Haines Alaska. There will be 5 of these doors in the house all with a different design on each.

The frame of this bifold door is made of Sitka spruce and the panels are made of red cedar.

This is a a bifold door made of local lodge pole pine. The pine will eventually darken to match the existing pine in the house.
